Add operations to security role

When you create roles, you can assign operations to the role at the time of creation.

Add an operation to a security role

  1. On the New Role dialog box, click Add. The Add Security Definition dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Operations tab, and select the operations that you want this role to perform.

  3. Click OK.

    Studio New Role dialog box lauched from the Roles context menu Add option. This is where you can add the new role and description and where you can add or remove an operation that a role can perform such as Add Record, Approve Report, and so on.

  4. Click OK. The new role appears in Project Explorer.
