Prepare for Planning

Before you add a Planning reporting point, do the following:

• (Optional) Define your products in the product hierarchy.

• (Optional) Add and configure any stored variables.

Add Planning reporting points

You can place Planning points to associate them with pieces of equipment.

• In the plant hierarchy, locate positions for Adding Planning reporting points.

Define actions

This important step gives directives to the plant equipment. You can upload directions to machines through connectors or through stored variables.

• Add and configure a Tag Download action
