Project backup naming and location

We recommend you use a naming convention for your AVEVA Production Management backup files that includes:

• Date created

• Project name

• AVEVA Production Management version

Save to the backup directory you created for this purpose.

Back up a project configuration

1. In Studio, open the project you want to back up.

2. On the Project menu, click Backup.

3. Type an appropriate name for the backup file in the File name field.

4. Click Save. After successful backup, a notification message appears.

5. Click OK.
