List of material requirement fields

Together, the fields below constitute a material requirement.

Standard Field

Description

Activity Id

The ActivityID standard field contains a unique identifier for a planned activity. The identifier originates in the business planning and logistics system. AVEVA™ Production Management uses this property to match Planning records with Inventory records when using the Match Movements to Plan feature.

Equipment Scope

The Equipment Scope identifies the location in the equipment hierarchy where the required material has been or will be used. For example, the material requirement can be satisfied by material being used at or below this location. This field is mandatory in the record.

Equipment Scope Identifier

The Equipment Scope Identifier is a unique identifier from an external system for the Equipment Scope. For example, equipment scope has an identifier in SAP . You enter the SAP identifier into the EquipmentScopeIdentifier property in AVEVA™ Production Management so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP equipment scope.

Last Modified By

The LastModifiedBy standard field shows the last AVEVA™ Production Management user to modify the record. Last Modified By is captured on non-system generated changes to custom and standard fields. This does not include Record creation and Confirmation as they have their own fields. System generated records will show the LastModifiedBy field as blank.

Lot

The Lot identifies a specific parcel of material and could be a lot or a lot group.

Material

The Material in the material requirement record. The material identifies the material required at a storage location. The material or material class, or both, is mandatory in the record.

Material Class

The Material Class in the material requirement record. The material class identifies the class of material required at a storage location. The material or material class, or both, is mandatory in the record.

Material Class Identifier

The MaterialClassIdentifier standard field contains the unique identifier for a material class from an external system. For example, a material class in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the MaterialClassIdentifier property in AVEVA™ Production Management so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP material class.

Material Identifier

The MaterialIdentifier standard field contains the unique identifier for material from an external system. For example, a material in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the MaterialIdentifier property in AVEVA™ Production Management so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP material.

Material Use

The Material Use in the material requirement record. The material use specifies how the material is used as part of the plan, such as consumption, production, or by-product. This field is mandatory in the record.

Parent Activity Id

The ParentActivityId is the Activity ID of the plan that has a parent relationship to the current plan. Plans can be hierarchical, such as a plan may belong to a parent plan, and that plan may have a parent plan. Each plan has an activity ID.

Quantity

The Quantity in the material requirement record. The quantity identifies the amount of material required. This field is mandatory in the record.

Record Date Time

The RecordDateTime field is a creation timestamp provided by an external system to check that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the most up-to-date value for the record.
