Add and configure a Material Quality reporting point

A Material Quality reporting point captures the quality attributes of a material as it moves through the process. For example, the ash content (%) of coal, or the platinum content (ppm) of a batch of material.

You can add a Material Quality reporting point to a Site folder, Area folder, or any piece of equipment that has a lot behavior of Selective, LIFO, FIFO or WeightedAverage.

To add a Material Quality reporting point

1. In Studio, right-click a Site folder, Area folder, work center, or work unit and point to Add Item, point to Reporting Points, and then click Material Quality. A new Material Quality reporting point appears.

   

2. Give the reporting point a meaningful name.
