Guidelines about the filter dialog box

  • When you open the Filter Records dialog box, it loads the current filter. You can change the current filter with the filter controls. When you click OK, AVEVA Production Management applies the new filter criteria to the data grid and views.

  • Only the fields that are filterable appear in the Filter Records dialog box.

  • The fields that appear also depend on the current View selection.

  • Click Reset Filters to return the filter to the default filter for the current view.

Default filter

For most modules, the default filter is set to records where Sample Period is Current Year.

This default value is determined by the DefaultPeriod property configured for a basic user or user group in the project. This means that if you are a member of an Administrator user group configured in Studio and its DefaultPeriod property is set to Hour, in Production Analyst, you should see Hour as the default period filter.
