Step 4: Install OTP and RabbitMQ

Before you install AVEVA Production Management, install the Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server. The product installer checks to see that RabbitMQ is installed.

RabbitMQ is a free, open source software that provides messaging services to AVEVA Production Management.

Note: RabbitMQ is a required component for AVEVA Production Management 7.0 and later.

Install OTP and RabbitMQ

1. Download and install Erlang/OTP.

2. Download and install RabbitMQ.
