There are a number of ways that AVEVA™ Production Management can send different types of notifications to AVEVA Production Management users.
Client notifications
AVEVA Production Management can deliver notifications to Production Analyst in the Notifications panel. Notifications are valid for a specified period of time before they expire, and no longer display in the Notifications panel.
There are two ways to configure client notifications:
-
Submit with Service Bus command
-
Submit through the Notification web service
Using the Service Bus
Uses the Service Bus Queue to deliver notifications. Messages display in the Notifications panel of Production Analyst.
To submit client notifications, you need to add the Submit Notification security operation on the System Configuration node of the project.
For more information, see Add and configure Client Notification command.
Using the Notification Web Service
Uses web services to deliver notifications directly to clients. Messages display in the Notifications panel of Production Analyst.
For more information, see SubmitClientNotification.
