Shared favorites

Shared Favorites are views to be shared amongst a group of users. These views can be organized into collections of views through the use of shared folders. Users can access and use the Shared favorites in folders that have been shared with User Groups they belong to.

Shared favorites are managed by a shared favorites administrator. See Manage Shared favorites and folders (Admin topic).

Note User profiles of the Basic User type will not be able to access Shared favorites.

View shared favorites

Shared favorites appear in the Shared Favorites panel of AVEVA Production Management. The shared folders that you see depend on which groups you are a member of. If you are not a member of any groups or no shared favorites are configured, this panel may appear blank.

Expand All and Collapse All buttons

You can use the Expand All (+) and Collapse All (-) buttons to expand and collapse all the shared folders. AVEVA Production Management will remember the state of expand and collapse for each user on a per computer basis.
