Add a Material Quality record manually

In addition to Material Quality records that are automatically generated by AVEVA Production Management, you can manually add Material Quality records.

To add a Material Quality record

1. Select the Quality module in the Select Module panel.

2. On the toolbar, select Insert a Sample . The Add Quality Record dialog box appears.

   

3. Specify the details on the dialog box, then click Add.

   • Sample Period - Specify the date and time for the Material Quality record. You can update this field on manual records only.

   • Material - Select a material for this Material Quality record. Only associated materials for this reporting point appear in the drop-down menu. This field is mandatory. You can update this field on both manual and automatic records.

   • Lot - Specify a unique lot identifier for this lot. This field is mandatory. You can update this field on both manual and automatic records.

   • Record Identifier - Type the SampleIdentifier value for the movements that you want AVEVA Production Management to match with this quality record.
