Edit a diary record

Diary records are Knowledge records. AVEVA Production Management simultaneously displays diary records in the Results grid and the Preview pane. The Results grid shows diary records as records in a table, and the Preview pane shows a diary record as a page.

Note Your ability to add, edit, and delete diary records depends on your security level.

To edit a diary record

1. Navigate to the correct module, location, and view.

2. In the Results grid, double click the record that you want to edit. The Edit Knowledge Record dialog box appears.

3. Edit the record with the changes that you require.

4. On the Edit Knowledge Record toolbar, select Save. AVEVA Production Management adds the changes.

5. On the File menu, select Exit. AVEVA Production Management displays the diary record in the Results grid and the Preview pane.
