Add a dynamic material movement custom field

A dynamic material movement item contains standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. After you add a dynamic material movement, you can add dynamic material movement custom fields to specify additional data for AVEVA™ Production Management to capture.

Custom fields show up in the Production Analyst Inventory views for the location where they are defined. For example, see Example: Creating custom fields for display in Production Analyst.

To add a dynamic material movement custom field

You can add any number of dynamic material movement custom fields.

1. In Studio, right-click a dynamic material movement and select Add Field. A new custom field appears.

   

2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the field properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Dynamic material movement custom field properties.
