Add and configure a recipe

You can associate recipes with certain products. For example, chocolate chip cookies require a recipe. Each recipe is linked to a recipe schema that determines the allowable parameters for that particular recipe.

To add a recipe

You can add a recipe to a product. Each recipe has a specified recipe schema to determine the allowable configuration of parameters.

1. In Studio, right-click a Product, point to Add Item, point to Recipe, and then click Recipe. A new recipe appears.

   

2. Rename with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Recipe properties.
