Upload metadata

Upload metadata after the AVEVA™ Insight integration is fully configured (endpoint and sources) and before uploading normal data. This provides the metadata structure for the data. The connection must be working to upload metadata.

To upload metadata to AVEVA Insight

After configuring the AVEVA Insight configuration item, you can push the configured metadata up to AVEVA Insight.

1. In Project Explorer, expand Integrations, and then the AVEVA Insight folder.

2. Right-click the an AVEVA Insight configuration item that you want to upload metadata for.

3. Click Upload Metadata.

   

   If successful, a confirmation dialog box appears.
