AVEVA™ Production Management

Connect the HTML page to the server

You can host an external document (web page) in the equipment hierarchy that you can access in AVEVA™ Production Management as a view. Create an HTML file outside of the Studio environment in a standard Web development environment, then store the HTML file on Server and use IIS Server to host the web page.

Previous step: Add and configure a document

To connect the HTML page to the server

  1. Save your HTML file to a location that the IIS Server can access, such as:

    C:\Program Files\AVEVA\Dashboard

  2. Verify that you have correctly set up the IIS Server.

  3. Verify that you have correctly added and specified the properties for the document item in Studio.

  4. Save your project and restart it.

  5. Restart Production Analyst to verify that your web page is working correctly.

Internet Explorer

By default, .Net framework render HTML pages for Production Analyst in an older version of Internet Explorer. This may cause unpredictable results.

The default emulation mode used in the browser control varies between versions of Internet Explorer and is outlined in the Browser Emulation table at this location:

  2. Use the application file name of the AVEVA™ Production Management connect method as the key name. This is the process hosting the browser control.
