Add a Lot custom field

A Lot custom field enables you to define additional attributes for a Lot. These would be attributes that you want to track with the Lot as it moves through the Plant process.

There is limit on the number of custom fields that can be added to a module, depending on the module type. For more information, see Limits on custom fields.

To add a Lot custom field

1. In Studio, right-click a Lot reporting point and select Add Field. A new LotFieldDefinition appears.

   

2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the field properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Lot custom field properties.
