Add and configure Client Notification command

The Client Notification command is for submitting notifications via the service bus to the AVEVA™ Production Management client. This command works similarly to the SubmitClientNotification method in Notification Web Services.

Note: If you change any of the configuration settings for the Service Bus item or its sub-items, the Service Bus item stops. When you restart the Service Bus item or your project, the Service Bus starts with the new configuration.

To add a Client Notification command

1. In Studio, under System Configuration, expand the Integrations folder, then expand the Service Bus folder.

   

   Tip: Use the Commands folder item to organize your command items.

2. Right-click the Commands folder and click Add Client Notification Command. A new command appears.

   

3. Give the command a meaningful name.

4. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Client Notification command properties.
