Connect a project

When you open a project, Studio connects to the Server.
Open a project

In Studio, on the Project menu, click Open. The Open Project dialog box appears.

Select the network computer name of the server that hosts the Server. The drop-down list displays any application servers to which you have previously connected.
Note: Do not choose the SQL instance name; choose the network computer name of the Server computer.

Click Connect.
After your project opens, you can configure the project to suit your process requirements.
Each time you save the project, the configuration details in Studio are saved to the configuration database on the server.
