System requirements for AVEVA Production Management browser client

This section describes the system requirements for the AVEVA Production Management browser client.

Supported operating systems

• Windows 11 (64-bit)

• Windows 10 (64-bit)

Additional software requirements

AVEVA Production Management browser client version requires the following software:

• Microsoft Edge (64-bit)

  If you plan to use the Production Analyst browser version, set Edge as your default browser. On the Edge settings page, search for "compatibility" and do these:

  1. Set the value for Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) to Allow. For more information on configuring IE mode policies, refer to the Microsoft documentation.

  2. Add the URL for the Production Analyst install landing page under the Internet Explorer mode pages. For example: http://amp-srvr01.domain.com/Ampla

     These settings allow you to properly load the Help documentation integrated into the application.

     The Help documentation doesn't render correctly in Internet Explorer, so we recommend using Microsoft Edge with the described configuration, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.

• HTTP Activation feature under WCF Services. For guidance on enabling this feature, refer to Step 6: Enable HTTP Activation under Web Services.

• Adobe Acrobat Reader, or a PDF reader of your choice. AVEVA Production Management launches PDF reports with the PDF application that is configured to be associated with .pdf files in the operating system.
