FIFO lot behavior

An equipment item with a lot behavior of First In First Out (FIFO) has the following characteristics:

• The equipment item tracks lots.

• An automatic material movement from the equipment is quantity-based. AVEVA™ Production Management moves lots out of the equipment from the front of the queue until it moves the specified quantity.

• A manual movement can be quantity-based or lot-based.
