Use the Sketching Tools

You can use the sketching tools to add sketches to diary entries (Knowledge records). The online sketchpad becomes available when you switch to Knowledge in AVEVA Production Management and open a Knowledge record.

The sketchpad treats each shape, line, and text entry as one pen stroke, and it places each pen stroke on a separate layer. For example, if you add seven lines, the sketchpad contains seven layers. This stops you from accidentally deleting one object when you delete another.

Before you add a shape, line or text entry, specify pen width, transparency, line color, and fill color. You can’t change the attributes of an object after it is sketched. You can only delete the object, and then sketch it again.
