MaterialIdentifier |
The unique identifier for the material. The records system for the enterprise, such as SAP, typically provides this identifier. This identifier must be present, or AVEVA™ Production Management cannot replicate it from the configuration database into the data repository, which results in a validation error. |

Units |
Specifies the unit of measurement that AVEVA™ Production Management displays for a quantity of the material. The string value you enter here displays in the client as the units for the material. For example: milliliters, ml, kilograms, kg, tonnes. Important: Each material that belongs to the same material class must have the same unit of measurement. |
