Use the Event editor to add a new ad-hoc movement event. An ad-hoc movement is a one-off custom movement.
Difference between routine and ad-hoc movements
-
A routine material movement is a predefined movement that contains predetermined details such as source equipment, material type, quantity to move, destination equipment.
-
An adhoc material movement is a one-off material movement that you can create manually to account for special circumstances.
An ad-hoc movement does not follow the same strict business rules as a routine movement. It is possible to use materials and material classes that are not predefined. This is so that you can capture one-off movements with unusual parameters.
