Overview of Energy

  • Last UpdatedJun 12, 2023
  • 1 minute read

Energy tracks and reports energy over consumptions (Energy events) to identify and reduce over consumptions of energy.

Standard fields

Configure the standard fields for the Energy module.

Configure the plant hierarchy

In addition to basic plant infrastructure, there are Energy elements to configure that will record Energy data.

Energy reporting points

The Energy reporting point is the main element for capturing Energy events. An energy event occurs when the actual consumption rises above target consumption.

Capture conditions

A capture condition defines the condition that occurs to initiate a data capture. You can base a condition on demand (for example, kW) and set a target (in kW).

Split conditions

A split condition defines the conditions when an energy event is automatically split into two separate events.

Custom fields

An energy field defines what data to record. Fields collect contextual information such as crew, shift, and material grade.
