Add a Calculated Quality custom field

A Calculated Quality reporting point contains Quality standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. At the reporting point, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields. For information on custom field limits, see Limits on custom fields.

The Calculated Quality reporting points also contain some default fields under the Fields folder: LotGroup and SetId.

Note: The default aggregation type for all Calculated Quality fields is Weighted Average Quality (WAQ).

To add a Calculated Quality field

1. Right-click the relevant Calculated Quality reporting point and select Add Field. The new field appears under the Fields folder.

   

2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.

   When you create fields under a Calculated Quality reporting point, AVEVA™ Production Management matches those fields with fields of the same name under a Material Quality reporting point.

3. Configure the field properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Calculated Quality custom field properties.
