The Planning workflow manages the different states that a Planning record can go through. The default states are:

In addition to the default states, your business may have configured additional custom states.

What happens when you activate a Planning record?

When configured, the following events occur when the state of a Planning record changes to Active.

• AVEVA Production Management uploads the values in Planning fields to an automation system.

• AVEVA Production Management confirms the successful upload of values to the automation system and reports any issues.
