Add and configure a web notification

When you add a web notification to a user, that user receives a pop-up message on their personal computer when any of the notification rules in the project transition to True for longer than the minimum active time.
You can choose a time period to limit the pop-up notifications. For example, only send notifications that occur within Shift A. You can specify whether to send the message based on the notification condition occurs inside or outside the selected time period.
Before you set up web notifications, check that you have correctly configured the Web Data Server. For more information, see Add and configure the Web Data Server.
To add a web notification
You can add different notification methods for different users.

Under the System Configuration folder, expand the Users folder.

Right-click a user, point to Add Item, point to Notification Items, and click Web Delivery Method. A new WebDeliveryMethod item appears.
