Add a Maintenance custom field

A Maintenance custom field defines what equipment usage data AVEVA™ Production Management records. A Maintenance reporting point contains Maintenance standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. At the reporting point, you can add, configure, and delete custom fields.

When you aggregate data, carefully consider your strategy for naming custom fields. Finally, set field properties to configure the custom fields. For Maintenance field names suggestions, see Suggested Maintenance field names.

To add a Maintenance field

  1. In Studio, right-click the Fields folder under the relevant Maintenance reporting point, and then click Add Field. The new Maintenance field appears.

  2. Rename the field with a meaningful name.
