Contributor Set folder and its permissions

  • Last UpdatedSep 10, 2023
  • 2 minute read

The Inventory configuration item contains a Contributor Set folder where you can add and define contribution types. The contribution types apply globally to the project.

Sometimes, different assets within the supply chain have a defining source characteristic that you may want to keep track of. For example, the business may want to apportion payment to the different owners of a product, based on the amount of material the owners contributed to the shipment. We refer to these types of source characteristics as contribution types.

Set permissions

You can set security permissions for the contribution features at the Contributor Set folder on the Inventory Configuration item.
