File integration

The File integration component enables an external file to provide data into an AVEVA™ Production Management reporting point.

The File2Ampla connector is used to:

• Insert records into AVEVA Production Management from external files.

• Update existing records in AVEVA Production Management based upon updates in external files.

Workflow diagram

This diagram shows the process flow of data for a file integration. A trigger causes the File integration component to read the external file. The workflow service transforms the data and submits to the AVEVA Production Management reporting point.
