Create integration variables

For each tag that you want to update, right click on the integration item and select Add Integration Variable. This creates an integration variable under the integration item.

For each integration variable, specify the following property values.

• Name – The name of the item; such as SampleId.

• Address – The value in the database for the integration variable. This defaults to the value in the Name property.

  For example, the Name is SampleId; however, the Address is PLN_S_SMPL_ID.

  

How it works

The essential information in the variable is passed to Plant2Business. A separate workflow task is created for each variable. In this case, AVEVA™ Production Management looks for matches on VarA1.
