You can install Microsoft SQL Server in any server within your enterprise environment. AVEVA Production Management uses two main SQL Server databases for storing configuration and project data:

  • Configuration database - Stores project configuration information.

  • Data repository - Stores project data.

We recommend that both the configuration database and the data repository reside on the primary server.
