View the relationship matrix for a location

You can select a location in your plant hierarchy and then view the relationship matrix for that location.

Navigate to the equipment instance in your project hierarchy, and open the relationship matrix editor from the Properties pane. The cause codes and classifications generated by the generic equipment type that you assigned to this equipment are shown in grey with a padlock to indicate that you cannot edit or delete them.

To view relationship matrix for a location

1. In Studio, select a location in the plant hierarchy.

2. In the Properties pane, click Browse (...) next to Relationship Matrix.
