Add and configure an AVEVA Insight item

Use an Insight configuration item to upload data to AVEVA™ Insight. When a record changes in AVEVA™ Production Management, the AVEVA Insight integration will push changes in the data of configured fields up to AVEVA Insight as tag values.

To add an AVEVA Insight configuration item

1. In Studio, under the System Configuration item, expand the Integrations folder.

2. Right-click the AVEVA Insight folder, and click Add Configuration Item. A new AVEVA Insight configuration item appears.

   

3. Give the item a meaningful name.

4. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see AVEVA Insight properties.
