A specification limit defines the lower and upper limits of an acceptable range for data. A specification limit defines a single range.

Note: The Data Type of a specification limit item on a Quality field is defined as a Numeric data type and matches the data type of the parent field.

How it looks in the data grid

A blue arrow symbol appears in data cells in the Production Analyst results grid to inform operators when data is of outside of specification limits.

A Quality field can contain only one specification limit.

To add a specification limit

  1. Select a Quality field beneath a Quality reporting point.
