Add an operation segment

You can add operation segments to an operation definition item. Operation segments define phases or execution parts of an operation in a processing facility.

An operations segment is an activity or sub-activity of an operations definition that occurs at a Site. For example, a mine site may have operations segments of Dismantle Equipment, Pressure Hose, and Reassemble Equipment under the Cleaning operations definition. Operations segments can be multi-layered and have their own operations segments to cover all sub-activities. You can add operations segments under the Operations Definition folders in the project hierarchy.

Add an operation segment

You can add as many operation segments as you like to an operation definition. You can also add nested operation segments.

1. Right-click an Operations Definition folder and click Add Operations Segment. A new operation segment item appears.

   

2. Rename the Operations segment to the name of the part of the operation process.

3. Repeat as many times as required.
