You can add Knowledge document links to the Library folder of a Knowledge reporting point. In Knowledge, the term document refers to knowledge items such as documents, video files, and image files.
Knowledge can link a plant area or product to any document on any network or server that AVEVA™ Production Management can access, including the World Wide Web (WWW). Authorized staff can use Knowledge to find equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, procedures, and instructions that are relevant to their areas without having to search the entire network for the site. With the relevant documentation at hand, staff can avoid operational errors, troubleshoot problems quickly, and resolve issues of policy with reliable information. Knowledge reduces the time that staff spend looking for information and increases the time they spend on production.
