Install ActiveMQ for Messaging Integrations

Install an ActiveMQ service for communication between AVEVA™ Production Management and an external messaging server. You can install ActiveMQ as a service.

Note: This is an optional feature. You do not need to install ActiveMQ for systems that do not need communication between AVEVA Production Management and an ESB.

You can download the latest release of ActiveMQ from the Apache website.

To install ActiveMQ

1. On the Apache website, navigate to Download or Download Archives page to download the required version of ActiveMQ.

   

2. Unzip the package on the Server. The directory path name should have no spaces; for example:

   C:\apache-activemq-5.11.1
