Copy and paste details of a Downtime record

You can copy the details of a specific Downtime record and paste the contents into a new record if the required details are the same. This can be particularly useful when multiple records are triggered by the same root cause. Record information can be copied and pasted into the related delay records.

Note The Add Record permission is required to use this feature.

Excluded fields

When copying records, these fields are excluded:

  • StartDateTime

  • EndDateTime

To copy and paste details of a Downtime record

  1. In the Results grid, select the record that you want to copy.

  2. Right-click and click Copy, or press CTRL+C.

  3. Select recipient record, right-click and click Paste or press CTRL + V.

    The details for the original Downtime record are copied across to the selected record.

    Note Be aware that you can paste incorrect cause locations into a Downtime record if you are not careful.
