Examples: How AVEVA Production Management calculates contribution percentages for lot groups (with same material)
There are various rules that apply to how AVEVA™ Production Management calculates contribution values for lot groups. In these example scenarios, we are calculating the percentage that each owner has contributed to the lot group.
In these scenarios, all contributions have the same material type.
Scenario 1: All contributions have the same material
All lots have the same material, so this is a straightforward calculation and does not have to account for material type.
Scenario 2: All contributions have the same material, but one contributor value is empty
In this scenario, one lot does not have an assigned owner. This could happen due to an invalid lot merge, a debt lot, or no owner ever being assigned. The percentage without an owner is marked as Unknown.
Scenario 3: All contributions have the same material, but one contributor has a negative balance
In this scenario, the lot balance for one owner is negative. The percentage assigned to the owner with the negative balance is assigned as zero percentage (0%). The negative balance is not used in the calculation of the other owner percentages but is reported.
Scenario 4: All contributions have the same material, but one contributor has a zero balance
In this scenario, the lot balance for one owner is zero. No information is reported for the owner with a zero balance.
