Unknown properties
When AVEVA Production Management is required to create a debt lot, if the movement has a source material of null and a source material class, which is not null, AVEVA Production Management does not know which material to use. Instead, AVEVA Production Management uses a material known as unknown material, which is defined in the material class.
When AVEVA Production Management moves a quantity of unknown material to destination equipment, this lot is a credit lot. The difference between a credit lot and a normal lot is that the credit lot is of unknown material. A credit lot has a positive balance.
For more information, see Understand lot behavior for negative balances.
