Material Movement custom field

A material movement item contains standard fields and any number of custom fields that you define. Custom fields show up in the Production Analyst Inventory views for the location where they are defined.

Fields define what data a material movement item records.

Example

In this project, the two custom fields - MM2 and MM3 - display data in Production Analyst at locations in the hierarchy that match the material movement configuration. The criteria for matching a location in the hierarchy with a material movement configuration is matching SourceWork Center or matching DestinationEquipment.

In Production Analyst, when you select the Site 2.Area 1.Raw Coal Storage location that matches the configuration for the Site 2 Coal Input material movement, the custom fields - MM2 and MM3 - display.

Note: For custom material movement fields to be visible in the client software, you specify permissions on the immediate parent material movement.
