Add and configure a contribution type

A Contribution type is a category of source characteristics that define an original trait for a lot and AVEVA™ Production Management can track throughout the process. Examples of contribution types are Owner, Supplier, Financer, Geotype.

To add a contribution type

1. Right-click the Contributor Set folder, point to Add Item, and click Add Contribution Type. A new contribution type item appears.

   

2. Rename the contribution type with a meaningful name.

3. Configure the properties. For guidance in configuring the properties, see Contributor Contribution type properties.
