Step 2: Install IIS and Windows roles

Internet Information Services (IIS) is an integrated feature of the Windows operating system. This service needs to be enabled.
AVEVA Production Management uses the IIS service for web-based communications, such as to the web-based client and web-based diagnostic tools.
Note: The install process and screens vary between Windows versions. The following screens provide an example only.
Install IIS

In the Windows Control Panel, under Programs, select Turn Windows features on or off.

In the Server Manager, click Add roles and features.

Click Next on the Add Roles and Features Wizard.

On the Installation Type screen, keep the default selection and click Next.

Skip Server Selection and go to Server Roles.

Select Web Server (IIS) and expand to display the list of roles services.

Select the required role services.
