Step 3: Enable Windows Authentication

If not already enabled, you will need to enable Windows Authentication and other required Role Services for IIS.

The AVEVA Production Management Diagnostics and Health Management websites do not permit anonymous authentication. For these websites to work, manually enable Windows Authentication.

For the Diagnostics and Health Management websites, the local Administrators group on the Server is given access during installation.

Install the ASP.NET server role

It is important to install the ASP.NET role service. When you select the ASP.NET roles service, the following dialog box prompts you to install other necessary roles services for the currently selected service.
