Configure Definition properties

LocationIdentifier

The unique identifier for the reporting point from an external system.

For example, a reporting point in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the LocationIdentifier property so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP reporting point.

The LocationIdentifier cannot be the same as any other LocationIdentifier or EquipmentIdentifier.

MovementDirection

This property specifies the direction of the material movement.

Options:

• Input: Material enters the process; there is no source equipment.

• Output: Material leaves the process; there is no destination equipment.

• Internal: Material moves in the process from one work center to another.

SampleIdentifierExpression

This property specifies the expression that defines the Sample Identifier that AVEVA™ Production Management uses for movements.

AVEVA™ Production Management matches the Sample Identifier field with the unique Record Identifier field on a Quality record.

Click Browse (...) to open the Expression Editor, and then build the expression.

This is an historical expression that AVEVA™ Production Management evaluates when the material movement is triggered.
