Where can I add a Calculated Quality reporting point

  • You can add one or more Calculated Quality reporting points to any work center or work unit that is a "lot-tracked" work center (Selective, LIFO, or FIFO).

When does the Calculated Quality reporting point create records?

  • A Calculated Quality reporting point automatically creates records when its fields have data available and the associated Material Quality records are captured.

Standard fields

  • Each Calculated Quality reporting point comes with a set of standard fields that are default for all Calculated Quality reporting points. These fields are supplied by the Quality configuration item. See Calculated Quality standard fields.

Other guidelines

  • You can add one or more custom fields to a Calculated Quality reporting point.

  • These standard fields are visible under the Fields folder of each Calculated Quality reporting point: Material, Lot, Lot Group, and Location Identifier.

  • AVEVA™ Production Management matches fields under a Calculated Quality reporting point with fields of the same name under a Material Quality reporting point.

  • The standard field definitions for the Calculated Quality reporting point reside under the Quality configuration item in the System Configuration folder.

  • You cannot add a Calculated Quality reporting point to a template.

Linking a Calculated Quality reporting point with Calculated Inventory source fields

Calculated Quality reporting points have access to configured Calculated Inventory fields. You can use the InventoryQuantity property to override a Calculated Quality field to use a Calculated Inventory field as its quantity. This enables you to cater for additional factors that affect quantity.
