About Planning standard fields

Although you configure custom fields at the Planning reporting point, you configure standard fields in the System Configuration folder under the Planning configuration item. The standard fields that appear under the Planning configuration item are common throughout the module.

List of Planning standard fields

This is a list of standard fields for Planning. For information about the Planning standard fields that constitute a material requirement, see List of Planning material requirement fields.

Standard Field

Description

Activity Id

The ActivityID standard field contains a unique identifier for a planned activity. The identifier originates in the business planning and logistics system. AVEVA™ Production Management uses this property to match Planning records with Inventory records when using the Match Movements to Plan feature.

Actual Duration

The Actual Duration standard field contains the actual duration for a Planning event. For example, if the planned start time is 12:00 AM and the planned end time is 8:00 AM, then the planned duration is 8 hours. However, if the planned activity ends at 8:30 AM, then the actual duration is 8.5 hours. This field has a Clipped sub-field to indicate whether data is truncated.

Actual End Date Time

The ActualEndDateTime standard field contains the date and time that the record ended. This field has a Clipped sub-field to indicate whether data is truncated.

Actual Start Date Time

The ActualStartDateTime standard field contains the date and time that the record started. This field has a Clipped sub-field to indicate whether data is truncated.

Created By

The CreatedBy standard field contains the name of the creator of the record. If AVEVA™ Production Management created the record, the field does not contain a value.

Created Date Time

The CreatedDateTime standard field contains the creation date and time of the record.

Has Audit

The HasAudit standard field indicates whether an audit history is associated with a record.

Id

The Id standard field contains a unique ID that a database generated for the record.

Is Clipped

The IsClipped standard field indicates whether the event data is truncated or clipped to the portion that falls within the filter.

Is Deleted

The IsDeleted standard field indicates whether the status of the record is deleted. AVEVA™ Production Management does not physically delete records; it marks the record with a flag to indicate a deleted record. You can filter deleted records from view, but they remain available in case you want to view them again.

Is Manual

The IsManual standard field indicates whether a user or AVEVA™ Production Management created the record.

Last Modified

The LastModified standard field contains the time that the data was last modified. Last Modified is captured on non-system generated changes to custom and standard fields. This does not include Record creation and Confirmation as they have their own fields. System generated records will show the LastModified field as blank.

Last Modified By

The LastModifiedBy standard field shows the last AVEVA™ Production Management user to modify the record. Last Modified By is captured on non-system generated changes to custom and standard fields. This does not include Record creation and Confirmation as they have their own fields. System generated records will show the LastModifiedBy field as blank.

Location Identifier

The LocationIdentifier is a unique identifier for a reporting point from an external system. For example, a reporting point in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the LocationIdentifier property so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP reporting point. The LocationIdentifier cannot be the same as any other LocationIdentifier or EquipmentIdentifier.

Material

A Material standard field contains the name of a material, which is a substance that the plant uses and produces such as raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

Material Class

The MaterialClass standard field contains the name of a material class, which is a group of materials that are related and organized into a category of materials.

Material Class Identifier

The MaterialClassIdentifier standard field contains the unique identifier for a material class from an external system. For example, a material class in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the MaterialClassIdentifier property in AVEVA™ Production Management so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP material class.

Material Identifier

The MaterialIdentifier standard field contains the unique identifier for material from an external system. For example, a material in SAP has an identifier. You enter the SAP identifier into the MaterialIdentifier property in AVEVA™ Production Management so that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the SAP material.

Object Id

The ObjectId standard field contains the full name of the reporting point for the record; for example, Plant.Area1.Process4.ProductionLine. The default display name for this field is Location.

Operations Definition

The Operations definition standard field associates this record with a specific operation definition.

  • Operations Segment

The Operations segment standard field points to a defined operations segment that provides the details for a segment of a specific operation.

Parent Activity Id

The ParentActivityId is the Activity ID of the plan that has a parent relationship to the current plan. Plans can be hierarchical, such as a plan may belong to a parent plan, and that plan may have a parent plan. Each plan has an activity ID.

Planned Duration

The PlannedDuration standard field contains the planned duration for a Planning event. For example, if the planned start time is 12:00 AM and the planned end time is 8:00 AM, then the planned duration is 8 hours. This field has a Clipped subfield to indicate whether data is truncated.

Planned End Date Time

The PlannedEndDateTime standard field contains the date and time that the record is planned to end. This field has a Clipped sub-field to indicate whether data is truncated.

Planned Start Date Time

The PlannedStartDateTime standard field contains the date and time that the record is planned to start. This field has a Clipped sub-field to indicate whether data is truncated.

Record Date Time

The RecordDateTime field is a creation timestamp provided by an external system to check that AVEVA™ Production Management recognizes the most up-to-date value for the record.

State

The State standard field displays the workflow state that the record is in; for example, the workflow states can be Available, Active, or Closed.
