Delete an Energy record

Note: This procedure is available to authorized users.

The deletion of an Energy record does not remove it from the AVEVA Production Management database (it is marked as "deleted"); however, it removes it from inclusion in any calculations or reporting.

To delete an Energy record

Note Deleted records cannot be undeleted. Check that you have selected the correct Energy record for deletion.

1. In the results grid, right-click the Energy record to delete and click Delete.

   

2. Click Yes on the confirmation message to delete the record.

   Note Deleted records are not physically deleted from the system, but are flagged as deleted. Filter for Deleted to display Deleted records. Alternatively, the filter can be designed to exclude deleted records from the results.

To undelete a Downtime record

• In the results grid, right click the Energy record and click Undelete. This removes the delete flag from the record.

  The keyboard shortcut for Undelete is Del [on numeric keyboard] + Shift, which displays in the shortcut menu as Decimal point (.) + Shift.
