The Event editor interface in AVEVA Production Management provides you the ability to edit, reprocess, and finalize Material Quality records that are used in Inventory data.
Note Inventory and Quality reprocessing accepts data from work units as well as work centers.

Interactive Status Panel

As part of the Event Editor, the interactive status panel provides updates on the status of your Quality reprocessing. At-a-glance, you can see how many changes were made, how many issues currently exist, and how many days of unfinalized data exist.
There are three main functions you can perform on the Event editor:
-
Edit details - You can edit the details of a selected quality event.
-
Reprocess - You can reprocess Material Quality data to process the impact of data changes.
-
Finalize - You can finalize Material Quality data up to a specified date and time. After being finalized, records cannot be updated or changed again by reprocessing.
Issues
The number of processing issues that have occurred during quality event processing.
Some examples of the types of processing issues that could occur:
-
Inventory moved from a non-existent location.
-
Inventory moved to a non-existent location.
For more information, see View processing details for movement events section in Display the Movement Events view.
Changes
The number of pending changes in the system. While this number is zero, there is no action to take. When there becomes one or more user changes to quality events in the system, the button changes to Reprocess.
-
Click Reprocess to process the changes to Quality and Inventory events, and to reprocess other Inventory data that is impacted by the changes.
When the reprocessing operation is finished, the button changes to Completed.
For more information, see Reprocess data.
Days
The number of days since the last finalization date time. If the number of days becomes very large, it may take a while to process the amount of unfinalized data in the system. Finalize data as often as your business requires. Keep in mind that finalized data cannot be changed or reprocessed again.
For more information, see Finalizing data.
